Cupcake Wrapper - Monochrome Rose
These elegant Monochrome Rose cupcake wrappers will add a touch of class to your cupcakes and muffins. The pack includes 2 designs in black and white which are identical but negatives of each other. The design features stylised roses and foliage in black and white monochrome and consists of single roses and bunches of varying sizes.
The wrapper is 5cm wide with a scalloped top edge and will fit perfectly around a cake with a 5cm base. Black roses do not actually exist in nature although they have been created by genetic manipulation. Roses which claim to be black are often just a very deep shade of red. Apparently if you want to deepen the colour of any cut rose you can add black ink to the water in the vase and it will naturally pick up some of the colour. White roses are of course common and the colour is symbolic of purity and innocence, varieties include Floribunda, Diamond and Aime Vibert.
